Duggar family of '19 Kids and Counting' to campaign for Todd Akin in Missouri

The Duggar Family of "19 Kids and Counting" fame will take a tour across Missouri next week to campaign for Rep. Todd Akin.

According to the campaign, the Duggars will be in the state on Oct. 16 and 17, and will stop in Springfield, Osage Beach, Farmington and Poplar Bluff.

Akin is running for Missouri's Senate seat against incumbent Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill. The GOP candidate has battled public fury and calls to quit the race from his own party because of comments he made about rape and pregnancy. He has since apologized for those remarks.

He was recently endorsed by former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum.

But I honestly do not have an issue with the Duggars. She made her own choices about her uterus. She decided to have all these children. It's none of my business.

Personally? I think she's crazy, but in the end it's HER choice. How many children is too much?

When she announced she was pregnant with her 20th child, I defended her RIGHT TO CHOOSE on DU . . . and got creamed for it. Not that I really give a shit -- pro-choice is PRO-CHOICE -- no one has to agree with that choice but it is her body and her right.

and thinking that her choice is a good one. I think she's a fucking lunatic and JimBob is worse, but, hey, it's not like I'm picketing their house trying to force her to take birth control pills.

The greatest officially recorded number of children born to one mother is 69, to the wife of Feodor Vassilyev (b. 1707–c.1782), a peasant from Shuya, Russia.
