More important than the MSM declaring a debate "win" is whether your points come across and hit home

I think that Biden did an excellent job of making the case for the administration and for discrediting Romney, or at least sowing doubt as to Romney's plans and his (and Ryan's ) authenticity.

On issues ranging from taxes, to the economy and medicare-- perhaps the three most important, he made very direct clear statements how the Obama administration's positions differ from the nebulous and extreme Romney/Ryan proposals. Communicating these ideas is far more important than anything else and Biden hit a home run with this debate. This sets the stage for Obama next week to explain how he will help make the country better and how Romney will make it worse.
