and the time line, the first Red Scare was in the 1920s, they were known as the Turner Raids.
Of course some of this goes even further back, the bad actors were not socialists, but anarchists. (Labor you see is not good for the Captains of Industry)

It smells of a nice photoshop job on the buttons. I totally understand that all 3 were opposed by the republicans.
