She'll find them annoying, but the point will be made.
"Ms. Raddatz set an admirable example in control of the facts and coverage of the issues really vital to the debate - can we expect you to also clear this high bar in moderation?"
Stuff like this.
I don't care if this sounds sexist: I think as a woman who likes to think of herself as someone who matters, Crowley can be made cognizant of how easily she could appear diminished by what was clearly the moderating performance of this election season.
If Candy Crowley is a joke, where Martha Raddatz is a guiding light and a figure of great respect, that's got to hit Crowley where it hurts.

(262 posts)Women have moderated VP debates but Tues. will be a first.
This all came about due to a group of H.S. students (girls of course) from New Jersey, who didn't propose any specific woman...just A WOMAN. Not sure if it was a public or private school, but I saw them on Gov. Granholm's show I think. The 4 or 5 young women were asked if any of them had a political party preference & they said they did not. They launched this campaign specifically to have a woman host/moderate one or more of the Presidential debates. They had a petition, a Facebook page, twitter & used social media to make this large enough for the main stream media to take notice. It was only when I heard the announcement of Ms. Crowley that I realized how grassroots social media & committed citizens can help us move forward as a country. Keep in mind, the young women were not necessarily able to vote yet. They just wanted to see one of the 51%, moderate a Presidential debate.
They had one agenda and it was successfully completed. They were neither bipartisan, nor were they partisan.
They were totally above partisanship! A lesson to us all.

(3,941 posts)She has never said one good word to or about a Democratic candidate. She has limited intelligence and even less of a vocabulary so not sure how she got selected. Pretty sure we won't see a moderator like we did for the vice president debate. Too bad.

(10,291 posts)business man to be FORMIDABLE and RUTHLESS, AND win the debate.
In fact, if Mitt Romney doesn't leave President Obama on the floor crying like a baby, he is clearly incapable of the position of POTUS.
