Romney Ad Uses Footage Of VP Debate

Romney Ad Uses Footage Of VP Debate

The Romney campaign released a new ad Sunday that uses footage from the vice presidential debate showing Paul Ryan talking about the economy while Vice President Joe Biden laughs, playing on Republican criticism of Biden's mannerisms during the debate.

Text at the end of the ad reads: "Romney-Ryan: Serious Leadership."

we cannot continue to borrow and spend is serious, and as far as I am concerned Biden looks bad laughing during that. We Ryan gets to Romney being uniquely qualified to handle the situation, I would laugh my head off as well.

If anyone thinks we can continue to borrow and spend like we are doing, then they are insane.

I had my teenage daughters watch the ad, and they agree it was disrespectful to laugh during the first part of the statement. I think it applies to them since they will be the ones servicing this debt.

Show how the deficits grow under Republican policies, Ryan's voting record, etc. Show them Clinton's record on deficits with higher marginal rates.

Then you can say, "Why is Biden laughing?"

Nice try, fellas. Serious leadership requires serious plans. Serious plans require details.

The GOP should change their mascot from an elephant to an evil clown.

It would be an easy edit, even with the laughing audio, to put the VP in such a light but he probably wasn't laughing at those points.

Its meant to show the VP in a flippant foolish light which is absolutely not true.
