Drunk woman attempts to avoid arrest by claiming she is a Republican

A drunken incident exploded at a P.F. Chang's in Des Moines, Iowa as a woman who claimed to be a Republican began belligerently yelling about politics and had to be removed from the premises by police.

Charlene Hunziker, 47, had too much to drink and decided to bellow loudly to customers about the virtues of voting for Mitt Romney and that President Obama was "ruining our country." The incident was not captured on video, but her demeanor prompted customers to call police for fear of their safety.

This encounter was locally reported by kitv.com. When police arrived Hunziker "told them they didn't need to be there because she's a Republican."

Police were forced to physically remove the drunken Republican who allegedly said, "she was doing this because she was a good mother." Hunziker was arrested for public intoxication, and booked into Polk County Jail.

I am sure Hunziker's children were proud of their mother's civic activities.
