So, A Local Republican Running For Juvenile Court Justice With Her Family And Staff Ate Lunch

today at the brewpub where my son works in the kitchen and his SO waits tables.

They all come in wearing Vote For **** shirts, with Romney/Ryan buttons, the whole nine yards.

Starts out badly, wanted their party to be seated immediately, really needy right off the bat, wants to order off the menu, typical prima donna behavior.

Anyway, when asked if they wanted to start with an appetizer and a choice of one of the restaurants forty microbrews, or one the ten wines they make, the candidate turns to my son's girl friend and says, "Don't you serve hard liquor here?"

She answers, "Yes we do, but not on Sundays, as we do not have a Sunday liquor license. But we do have a huge selection of awesome lagers, ales, and wine to choose from."

Republican candidate for juvenile court justice, "What kind of fucking place is this where you can't get a drink?"

Son's SO, " ! "

And yes, they tipped like shitheels.

He and my daugher-in-law were watching my grand-daughter for my second-oldest son and his SO.

They go off duty, go to #1 son's apartment to pick up my darling hellion of a grand-daughter, and tell the story to son and wife.

#1 son, who like all my kids, hates everything Republican, gleefully tells all to anyone he can.

SO gets home, goes on FB, totally pissed off at the shit just dumped on her by self-important POS, tells the world, names names.

Me, laughing my ass off.

My folks, my three kids, their SO's, some old friends of mine, a whole bunch of whoever else wants to show up.

We meet at a local Mexican restaraunt, and talk smack about Republicans.

It's a hoot, every week.

Get there at 5:30, usually leave about five hours later....we tip really, really well.

and I can totally relate to your son. Once I had the displeasure of waiting on Ralph reed before he was famous. He spent the entire meal acting high and mighty, discussing how to make money and never showed any real humanity through the whole meal. This was 1990 and it gave me a pretty good impression of what a right winger thinks and acts like. Nowadays I've waited on so many there is no doubt in my mind the stereotype fits. I believe many are sociopaths and lack empathy for their fellow man. The whole religious front is just that and nothing more. They are proud of their hypocrisy. If Christ was around he would have nothing to do with them. I'm surprised psychologists haven't produced more evidence showing how messed up their thinking is.
