and she was upset that the pundits on MSNBC called it a win for Romney because it was clear to her that President Obama did very, very well - and he won.

That's the problem with us on the Left. We have this deep-seated need to want to be fair and balanced that we'll go so far as to shoot our own in the foot just to prove it. It's time we take a page from the Republican playbook and stand behind our candidates with the same fervor that we use when we're out to prove how "fair and balanced" we are to the world. Nobody on the AlwaysWrongRight cares, and their misleaders will continue to use that against us as they continue to win power.

This reminded me of when I was little and in the car with my father. I watched as he usually gave right of way to the more aggressive drivers although he had every right to take that crossover or turn (other car went straight through red or didn't stop at a Stop sign, etc). I asked him why. He said, "I know I'm right, but I don't want to be DEAD right. I have you to think about."

That's the attitude we Progressives need to take on, too. We know we're right, but we don't want to be (figuratively or proverbially) dead right because we have the vulnerable to think about who depend on us and who we vote for.

but it relates to your post. We need to give him the win because we know he's the winner.

The pundits are in the pocket of the right for the money and some have big egos about their punditry being "responsible" -- but this election is too important for any of them. As you say "fair" is out the window with these stakes.

That is why he has already won on Tuesday

Yes, that's the attitude we need to take. He has already won and we should crow it from the rooftops!

There is much too much to lose if there's a President Robme.

and twitter facebook info for all those pundits and hosts.

Then I think we need to let them know how we feel if they award a "win" to Rmoney or a "draw"

Not acceptable! Tweety or Ed Schultz had better behave

I remember with GWB, all he had to do is not crap all over the floor and the pundits went all "EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS WOOT!!" And whenever he messed up it was "he don't need no fancy words the people like that he's so plain-talkin'."

So of course he was exceeding expectation when he put more than 2 words together.

And keep repeating it when no other answer springs to mind.

That's the GWBush method of winning a debate.

I still can't believe he totally blew the first debate so badly.

He wasn't even paying attention, and it cost him his lead. Jesus!!!! If he blows the second debate, God help him! I won't stay home on Election Day, no matter what, but a lot of folks will if he blows it again.
