Thanks, Rep DesJarlais...I needed to stop drinking those NASTY Sun-Drops anyway

Juanita Jean has an article about DesJarlais introducing H. R. 3848, "Protecting Foods and Beverages from Government Attack Act of 2012," ostensibly to help "create jobs" and lay off those poor, dear beverage manufacturers, who only care about workers' prosperity, of course.

Except when they're donating to anti-worker, anti-woman scum like DesJarlais. Seems he may have an ulterior motive in "protecting" Coca Cola et al.

Well, no more Sun-Drop, Cokes, or any more commercial beverages for moi. I don't need those unhealthy HFCS-laden drinks anyway. Thanks, Scotty, for reminding me how damaging soft drinks - and their PACS - are to society!

Her blog entry - along with a super Bennett cartoon - are right here:

which of course I am sure what it is designed to be.

The threaten their employees, get what they want.

We retaliate by not buying their products, production drops--they get fired anyway.

This is what happens when the corporations take over the country...

and not buying their products would be a good thing - let the smaller retailer take over.

What this is is DEsJarlais using his position to pass laws to BENEFIT his donors rather than the VOTERS.

When is it enough?

Do we HAVE to buy unhealthy things or support businessess that defile our environment just for JOBS?

I don't think so....but YMMV
