Lets get together and make things happen

about three weeks til election day. Time to start organizing for our actions after the election. This time we must not sit back and wait for the change to happen, we must force the change to come about.
A few things we should consider: In dealing with the deficit we should not consider austerity such as Greece, we should push for infrastructure rebuilding. Get the people working at good high paying jobs, they will pay taxes and help bring down the deficit.
We should also work on some anti-trust suits regarding both ALEC and the Chamber of Commerce. Their control of our politicians borders on illegal, let's put a stop to it.
There are more items we can work on but first we must get together and organize our efforts.

...with Conservative obstructionism and big money fighting against it. We need radical change in the political arena, including replacing Supreme Court lackeys and building a veto-proof majority in the Senate.

And it may be too late.

The situation in this country is reaching such dire proportions that some may want to look at the Declaration of Independence: "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

The Tea Baggers are fond of calling for armed revolution these days, and one can only say "Be careful of what you wish for." It's too obvious that it's the Conservatives who want the rest of us subjected to fiefdom, and these may be the times when nothing else works to stem their drive for complete power, that stronger actions are needed.

Yes we do have a difficult path to follow but, that is no reason to give up. The upcoming election should be a morale booster for us. I am expecting Democratic gains.
After having spent the last few years demonstrating at Republican offices and getting lip service response from third stringers, we should all join together and use similar efforts at Democratic office holders. You see the Republicans never felt a need to consider our concerns knowing we were not going to support them. But the Democrats all know they need our continued support and will give us more consideration. So lets get radical and reach for the moon.
We are a vast and mixed group, unions, gays, immigrants, public service workers, walmart workers, oppressed women and others. We each have personal issues that bring us here. Forgive me if I failed to mention you or your group here. but If we all join together we CAN make a difference.
