WHAT A VOICE! He does have pretty good frickin genes so.. That was amazing. I hope he makes a career of it. It would be criminal if he didn't. very lovely.

Barbra transcends lots of things, it seems. Back in the early 1960s, when I was singing a lot in public as a teenager, I was always torn between Barbra and Joan Baez. I had crazy crushes on both of them, but also learned phrasing from both of them. Pretty heady stuff for a high school kid. I actually met Joan Baez once, and she was very kind to an awestruck kid. Never met Barbra, though.
