Obama Surges Ahead of Romney In New Reuters/Ipsos Poll

Andrew Kaczynski ?@BuzzFeedAndrew

RT @GDebenedetti: Newest Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll has Obama 47-Romney 45 among likely voters:

WaPo Poll, Too . . .

* No one is undecided: President Obama took 49 percent to Romney’s 46 percent in the poll’s head-to-head matchup among likely voters. One percent of people said they would vote for a different candidate (Gary Johnson boomlet!), one percent said they would vote for neither candidate and two percent said they had no opinion. Among people who said they were supporting either Obama or Romney just two percent said there was a “good” chance they would change their minds. Add it all up and you have six percent of the electorate who isn’t already for one of the candidates solidly. That’s minuscule.

you have to wait. After all there might be another poll that comes out today that shows Romney up and then you can paint it as a wash. You don't want to buck the established narrative due to timing. We can't have that blue line overtake the red line!

They did not when they were favoring Romney either.

You can argue that Internet polling should be included, but at least they are consistent.

BTW, TPM lists them, but do not include them in their average either.
