Found an interesting news site

http://therealnews.com/t2/

Anyone else heard of them? I know many DU'ers have been complaining about the quality of news sources available lately with the somewhat recent disappointment of Huffington Post...so I thought I'd share this one. I have no affiliation to the site. I found it by accident searching for autoupdating video players. TRN claim in large bold text at the top of their main page:

"NO ADVERTISING, GOVERNMENT OR CORPORATE FUNDING"

They obviously rely on donations.

I like their format which basically consists of video interviews and reporting via a large video player accompanied by a transcript and guest bio. There are also fully texted based column articles available. All in all it seems a pretty well rounded source with no right wing nuttery to be found.

I will be checking this site out. I like that they take no advertising. Thanks for passing this along.
