Though I'm inclined to think Ann is as much an enabler as a victim.

He puts caged dogs on moving cars. He tackles and cuts the hair of classmates. He's an all-round asshole.

Oh no - she has every bit the mean streak Mitt has. Romney's a world-class jerk, no doubt, but nobody tells Ann Romney nothing she doesn't already want to hear.

You can see that in the imperious way she carries herself.

On long car trips, Mitt would only let his kids have bathroom breaks when he stopped for gas. Even, I presume, when they were little.

(It's likely that he screamed at them when they couldn't hold it, too-that's typical of the type.)
