by insisting that the President's pension invests in them also, and Obama's response was like a Reagan retort "My pension isn't as big as yours".

It left Romney with Chinese all over him and looking like he did in the primary when he upped Perry's bet to $10,000.

That was deadly, and typical of what Obama does very well: let people tangle themselves up. It's too bad he tends towards playing this game to the point of passivity, but tonight it served him well. The wingnuts must think there were teleprompters hidden around the studio for the debate.

I thought he handled that very well, and I think it might have flustered Romney into flubbing his final thrust on the "calling it terror" comment.

The horror of George W Bush was mentioned more in this one debate than in the whole campaign season!

And I agree that the President's answer was masterful-- pointing out the ways in which R was much more extreme.

Obama said that a number of times. he really meant to say Ya Freakin' Liar, but Obama is a gentleman.
