HUXLEY, Iowa (AP) — A Huxley woman accused of killing her newborn twin daughters after giving birth at home is being held on $1 million bond.

Jackie Burkle, who is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, made her initial court appearance Wednesday in Story County.

Police found the infants' bodies in the trunk of Burkle's car Saturday after receiving a call to check on her. Court records show she gave birth Friday.

Police have released few details but say the 22-year-old Burkle lives with her parents.

If not, did her parents know she was pregnant? Leaving her alone certainly wasn't a smart idea.

And Iowa does not have any laws about blatant LIES in advertising forced-birth "Crisis Pregnancy Centers". Just Googling "reproductive health care Iowa" brings up hits of what appear to be women's healthcare facilities providing comprehensive services - with descriptions that falsely affirm that they offer abortion services.

Here's one LYING listing:

Choices Medical Clinic | Abortion in Iowa City, Abortion clinics in ...
www.choicesclinic.com/
Getting an abortion in Iowa City? ... Located on Gilbert Street in Iowa City, Iowa. ... Services Information, Abortion Pill, STD Treatment, and other Reproductive Health Services in Iowa City, Iowa
**100% forced-birth fake "clinic"**

Iowa also imprisons women who discuss abortion during a medical care visit, arresting them for "attempted feticide":

Looks to me like forced-birther vultures in Iowa probably impeded this poor woman's ability to find and secure safe, legal pregnancy termination services in a timely manner.
