CNN/ORC Poll: Obama Claims Narrow Win Among Voters In Second Debate

Forty-six percent of registered voters who tuned in to Tuesday night's town hall debate in Hempstead, N.Y. declared President Barack Obama the winner, according to a snap poll from CNN and ORC International.

The poll shows that 39 percent of voters who watched the second debate said Mitt Romney topped the president. Obama's 7-point edge over Romney is within the poll's margin of error.

"The seven-point margin falls within the poll's sampling error." I have a scientific, statistics based analysis of that statement: BS. When you take a poll, as with the polls here on DU, there is no "sampling error". a vote is a vote.

Notice also that they say "Obama Edges Romney". 46 to 39 is not edging, sorry. 46 to 45 would be your edging. 46 to 39 is more like, oh, how about a whuppin?
