I remember before the 2000 election, he was interviewing Roger Ebert for CNN. I was blown away, because I'd always thought Ebert was a rw asshole (just got that feeling from him). It was the opposite. Ebert was advocating for liberal causes, arguing against his friend Greenfield.

on politics, then he seemed to fall off the face of the Earth. Not sure what happened, but it seems like he has fallen a long way from where he was at one time.
