In debate #2. He was exposed as an elitist disrespectful asshole. He paid a price for evading questions on women's issues, his tax plan, and for blowing it on immigration. He was framed as a corporate raider and outsourcer whose business experience is ill-suited to the job description of President.

He got clobbered on foreign policy on an issue that his people spent weeks exploiting.

He spoke in a condescending away about people who are not like him.

In doing so, he reminded voters of why they fear GOP extremism. That will cost the GOP across the board.

He was left with reciting what's wrong with the current economy but no credible way to say how he would make it better. That doesn't get him past 47% of the vote.
