http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/17/tweet-of-the-day-kerry-comes-prepared/When Sen. John Kerry showed up to help President Barack Obama prepare for Tuesday's presidential debates, one can safely assume he didn't bring any "binders full of women."
Obama tapped the senator from Massachusetts to play the role of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney in their mock debate sessions. He also "spun" for the candidate in the debate spin room on Tuesday.
At the debate, the former Massachusetts governor set the internet afire with his comment that to find women qualified to work in hia administration, he requested - and received - "binders full of women."

He'll never forgive those fuckers for what they did to him.
And who can blame him?

(14,128 posts)the Senator on Twitter and second-guessing Team Obama here and everywhere would apologize to him, and admit they were wrong, but go figure they won't. Glad Team Obama stuck with their script and didn't listen to the haters.
More people should say what you said here. Good post.

(14,128 posts)Just venting that it's strange that people were blaming him for Obama's first debate performance, yet Obama came out and was excellent, they are praising him for it, yet bashed Kerry and won't admit like you that they were wrong about him in the first place.
Like Pro said, Obama picked him for a reason. Maybe people are just jealous that Kerry is helping Obama or hasn't ran away and hid somewhere just because he lost, so his advice isn't relevant, only the favorite Dems/liberals, and Clintonistas (i.e. Carville) are. IDK. Help understand.

(51,006 posts)he's feisty and quick on his feet. I think Kerry is thoughtful and deliberate. Romney is an in your face kind of guy. Very different style than Kerry. That was my thinking when I said, I'd prefer someone like Carville. I never stopped caring for Kerry as a good human being. Just my perspective, previously.

(14,128 posts)maybe just mad at people like Michael Moore, his followers and some here (not calling out anyone), but those who were posting/tweeting how Obama's 1st debate "loss" was all and only Kerry's fault and snarkly bashing the Senator for doing the best he could after only one debate.
They're fine now with Obama cause he slayed in the 2nd one, but they won't even apologize to the man that helped prep him for that Romney smackdown. If, Obama, or Team Obama/Biden read half that garbage they would have been furious, which is why Obama took full responsibility (know that was it job, but still) and said that it was no fault of Kerry in a NYT conference call.
You are right. Carville is fast and feisty. Rendell (who was mentioned) is more like a sham, used car salesman lol!, and Kerry is nothing like Romney.
Thanks for your perspective.

(51,006 posts)for Obama's debate loss, agreed.
Thanks for your perspective, also.

(5,256 posts)THANK you. One more debate to go - - and you and the president combined will not exactly be lacking on foreign policy experience to bring to the table in further prep.
