As we strongly disagree and I don't see movement, can we have a moratorium on Debate #1 threads?

Listen, some of you are very wedded to the notion that Obama's first debate performance was a strategy, or to some notion that he won that debate.

Others (including myself) strongly disagree with both those notions.

I am being restrained by going no further than the above.

Here is my recommendation, in keeping with my third sentence:

CAN WE PLEASE STOP DISCUSSING THAT FUCKING DEBATE?

It serves no purpose and it is going nowhere. No one's mind is being changed and there is no change in that on the horizon.

The things we ALL can agree on is that OBAMA KICKED THAT LIAR'S ASS LAST NIGHT, AND THAT, EVEN BETTER, HE ALLOWED ROMNEY TO EXPOSE HIMSELF AS A PETULANT, PETTY DISRESPECTFUL CHILD.

There are so many positive things to discuss from the second debate.

Discussion of the first debate merely serves to irritate and frustrate us, and as a certain campaign would say, IT KEEPS US MOVING BACKWARDS - NOT FORWARDS.

Discussion of all the lies Mitt told in the first debate and what flip-flopped positions he can be called out on - that serves a purpose.

Discussions of how bad the President was or what a grand strategy the whole thing was - ENOUGH.

I know this sounds bossy, so please understand this is a SUGGESTION.

But I think it's a good one. Let's lay down our weapons on this argument. It's long since passed the point of pointlessness.

We are focusing on debates ,and phrases that gotcha stuff ,When the biggest problem we face as a nation are the members of the 112th congress I believe we need to expand our conversation and use these forums to keep a spot light shinning on the fact that if they stay in we are in for another round of filler busters and good bills not reaching the floors for votes and Americans will continue to suffer how about that for conversation ?

I really, sincerely have had enough of the ridiculous argument and the back and forth over something that was blessedly put in the rearview mirror last night.

And I am not about to stifle my pleasure at what is happening, I've been waiting since Raygun for this day, for somebody to dismantle the Southern Strategy for good.

I will give you this much, you leave me alone, and I will go out of my way not to annoy you. Many times I agree with you. Not now.
