I still don't trust Candy Crowley. But it was Mitt who pushed her to help Obama

with her tough follow ups and brutal fact check that made him look like a smuck.

Every time Romney dissed Candy she paid him back via the follow up(s).

The fact check was icing on the cake.

She did better than I thought she would, but I still don't agree that she hit a homerun. Even when she fact checked Romney on the "acts of terrorism", she pulled the old "equivalency crap" by saying that Romney was right about the two weeks. To me, she belongs in the same category as Blitzer.

Like all Republican water carriers she probably doesn't like him any better than anyone else does. He's just not likeable. His wife isn't likeable either. He kept talking over Candy and interrupting her and not paying attention. She knows how to shut people up. She did just that. Obama's instant reaction to have her say it louder was proof of how fast he thinks on his feet. He made sure it was heard loud and clear.

I wish she was always like that, being truly a person who keeps the politicians on both sides honest. She could do it if she wanted to.

I'm glad we have Rachel who does it.

I agree that Willard badgered Crowley to the point of both distraction and coming off as the bully we know he is. What is remiss here is that every time he did push, Crowley tried to pacify him like a petchulant child and did back down on several occasions. She was all but forced to back-up President Obama's Rose Garden remarks and if you look at the video tape, she does so sheepishly which prompts President Obama to ask her to say it louder. Then note after the laughter how she tries once again to placate Stench...almost like she's apologizing for helping on the smack down.

And since Obama had not disputed or misspoken about the other part we came out way ahead.

After listening to Romney for about 30 minutes, even Candy Crowley couldn't stand the asshat's boorish behavior.

it's Romney's own fault he wiffed on Libya and Guns not Obama or the moderator. If he wants to wander into the wilderness on every single issue that's up to him, but the moderator has to try to get an answer remotely in the same category as the question.

And Crowley obliged him with what the record actually said. Much to his peril, Mittens has started to believe in and rely on discredited right-wing propaganda talking points.
