(7,365 posts)These folks are locked into their political ideology like religion. Nothing will dissuade them from carrying the torch.
What could maybe happen is if the Democrats can give them a few ass beatings, then that may force a resurgent moderate Republican movement to take hold. Those would be people (guys like Lincoln Chaffee) Dems could wok with on many issues to get things done.
