Hey, when is the pendulum supposed to swing back?

Republicans have been far right since 1980. When are they supposed to move to the center again?

These folks are locked into their political ideology like religion. Nothing will dissuade them from carrying the torch.

What could maybe happen is if the Democrats can give them a few ass beatings, then that may force a resurgent moderate Republican movement to take hold. Those would be people (guys like Lincoln Chaffee) Dems could wok with on many issues to get things done.
