Can someone give me some guidance, please,

regarding donating to the Obama campaign?

I finally have some money but I am not altogether comfortable with giving my card number to any of the emails I have received.

Tonight is the last night to donate and I don't think you can donate cash in person anywhere.

Using your card is safe. But if you're that uncomfortable don't do it.

Go directly to the Obama re-election campaign yourself website to donate. Can't be too careful.

No one wants people to go without necessities in order to donate to campaigns.

Second, I have donated just a bit. I did it directly through the website, using my card. It's the Obama campaign site, so I felt comfortable.

Do NOT respond to any e-mail with your credit card # or any personal information. That's my motto. Don't even LINK to a site through an e-mail. Type the address directly in the address bar in your browser.

Another poster has given you the site address.
