Think about this... Barack Obama is really the first democrat to win the the age of Fox News

And I know Fox News isn't new, but in the 2000s if definitely became more powerful and reached more homes. My question is, what does this say for the future? I'm convinced Kerry wins if there were no fox news, just as I'm convinced Obama would have a huge lead right now w/o Fox News. I think it's going to get harder to compete as long as they're an arm of the GOP.

It doesn't really matter who comes first. They're both owned and operated by the top 1%; they're the ones who write both the paychecks and the campaign checks.

It's mostly old white people that watch it. So, eventually the old people will die off and when white people are more a minority instead of a majority they will loose a lot of viewers. Or maybe people will figure out how stupid they are, well I can dream can't I?

Twitter and Facebook don't have the guise of authority that Fox cloaks itself in. They are unique in that people actually believe they are watching news.
