Romney is trying to frame a $4300 loss in wealth for the "average American" as a tax-- an "economy tax"--and link it to the administration. I can see where uninformed people would be suckered in by this. There is a tendency to look for a scapegoat to blame for peoples' problems. Nevermind that the "job creators" and their financial institutions have been sitting on wealth for several years now and not investing in America. Never mind that they are still picking people's pockets while threatening to remove their voice if they attempt to replace their corrupt bought and paid for legislators. People, this is not a tax; it is a theft. Romney is trying to hide the crimes of the 1%.

(14,076 posts)You know, like mandated attendance, without pay, at Romney rallies, and threats of employees being fired if romney is not elected. Romney is a scumbag and people won't vote for a scumbag.

(134 posts)The ads have increased so they are about 3-1 for Romney. He has 3 new ads running this week as far as I can tell. All dishonest, and targeting Obama as having broken promises on jobs, increasing taxes on middle tax.

(111,098 posts)when the economy collapsed in 2008 and 2009, the stock market sunk to almost 6500. People lost about $40,000 on the average. (my estimate) They have now gained much of that back. That is no small change either.
