He's not "getting away" with anything.
Everybody with a pulse knows that he hasn't released his taxes, which of course, he is not the least bit required under the Constitution to do.
Everybody with a pulse has picked a side, and for the most part, the people who have picked his side don't care that he's a super-rich fuck who pays little or no taxes. He's not the black guy, and that's all they care about.

I find this notion of Mitt "getting away" with not releasing his taxes to be bizarre.
Certainly, keep hammering away at him for it, but it's not going to make any difference at this point.

Just following the law isn't always the moral thing to do. He's campaigning to be the President. Most people applying for that job will comply with the established customs simply because it's the ethical thing to do.

So it doesn't matter whether he's following the law because he also needs to answer to his employers which just happen to be us. Ethical behavior is an indication of personal character. Keeping secrets from your employers also indicates the type of character you have.
