Rand poll shows movement toward Obama

First, this poll surveys the same people over and over again, with one seventh of them surveyed each day, and each group of one seventh is surveyed the same day of each week.

The poll has been showing movement toward Obama for the last several days, except that it went the opposite way one day ago, which showed the results of the last seven days before the second debate.

Today's results are based on one seventh of the group being surveyed after that debate, and it shows movement again toward Obama. In fact, the positive change upward for Obama, and the negative change downward for Romney shown for that one day, each show a change that is among the largest reported for one day as of late (if you place your cursor over each day's data point, you will see the result for that day, and you can compare the daily changes).

Again, this is based on data from only one seventh of those surveyed, so it is of course a very early indication of the effects derived as a result of the second debate, but still, it shows the beginning of what is hoped will be a good trend for Obama, and is all we have to look at for now.
