...Maryland is in the eastern time zone, so their polls will close 3 hrs ahead of ours here in Washington, which means that they may have official results before our polls even close. So both states could approve it on the same day, but Maryland would 'technically' be first.

As a Washingtonian I'm okay with second place if it means we have TWO states that have approved same sex marriage at the ballot box.

GO MARYLAND!! (and Washington, Maine and Minnesota too!)

I love that NoM is spending that much money and is losing ground. You guys rock!

R-74, the Washington measure to approve same sex marraige is ahead in the polls by 55%, and has been endorsed by pretty much every business & newspaper in the state. We know that NoM and their allies plan an ugly hatefilled media blitz the last couple of weeks, but I think we're prepared for it.

If Maryland and Washington both approve same sex marraige we'll have the rest of the country surrounded! They might as well surrender now! lmao

It has been legal here in CT for some time but we had to do it through the legislature. To have it win by a vote means so much.

It's already against the law, but the conservatives want to raise the bar to make it harder to eventually change the law. I see more Vote NO signs, but I think the hate filled conservative are afraid to publicly identify their hate. It will be close, but hopefully we can avoid placing discrimination into our constitution.

The red part that is. Not many Romoney stickers and signs out here, but then again I'm on the purple edge. Now if we can unseat Roscoe Bartlett too, that would be good even though I think Delaney is a conservadem.
