Trying to appeal to women.

She's whining again how hard it is.

She avoided Joy's question about her opinion as to whether or not reproductive rights are indeed an economic issue. She said Joy needs to sit on the couch with her husband and ask him, because she isn't addressing such things. Of course they invited him and he hasn't come on there yet.

She should walk a mile in the shoes of an average American woman before she whines from her throne on live teevee.

We need more discussion by the MSM about his mental stability.

Thu Oct 18, 2012, 12:17 PM
Oct 2012

Walks around complaining about all the "coulda, woulda, shouldas" he could have said? Slams furniture and whines for hours on end? Threatens people who should have prepped him or supported him better? Makes her the scapegoat - yelling and hitting at her as she is the nearest "safe" object for him to hurt?

Or is she so equally thin-skinned and contemptuous of him that any complaint he may be making or frustration in his voice is viewed as an inconvenience or attack on her?

There's a wide range of interpretation on "dumps on her".

Or is this all a ploy that she feels will get women to feel he's got a human side? If she's so brainwashed into believing that a "woman's job is as a helpmete to sooth the hardworking man's brow" and that real women think the same way she does, she may actually think she's helping her husband by showing that unlike the President, who's wife is an independent woman that has not dedicated her life to ensuring his life is stable, her husband can depend on her to keep him sane.

Or, perhaps she's pretty sure he's not going to win and just wants him to quit, and is sabotaging his campaign to get it all over with quicker.

there were many but when Ann was discussing dating Mitt. She explained how he went to France for his missionary work while she stayed behind and dated other men. She mentioned she was dating and having fun, and Mitt ended up in the hospital in France because of that. Am I the only one who thinks that's weird?

Somehow, magically, this is what caused Mitt's accident? Mormon stuff, I swear. Not the use of guilt, that is common in religion, but the magical thinking is profound in Mormonism. Unless she was saying that she told him over the phone so he was driving erratically, if so, well . . . never mind.

"There is something wrong with this family.

I'm not saying that they were beaten or that there was physical abuse, but this is not the loving family they pretend to be for the public. Violent thoughts toward the president is weird for the adult son of a candidate. I think Romney is a tyrant to his family and they all suffer from Stockholm Syndrome."

I think this family is emotionally and verbally abused by this man.

Thu Oct 18, 2012, 01:31 PM
Oct 2012

Note that Fox is already complaining that they were hard on her but soft with the Obamas.

No one has touched on this "dumping" thing at all yet. Maybe on replay it won't seem so bad, but watching it live -- in conjunction with the interview as a whole -- it was pretty devastating for their campaign, imho.

Edit to add that men may not zero in on such things as much as women, but this is a show that primarily has a female audience. I'd think we're being biased for obvious reasons, but the studio audience seemed to be just as uncomfortable as I was watching it all. I would have thought the producers would have filled the audience with Hasselbeck clones, precisely to prevent what happened from happening.
