WTH? Paul Rodriquez? Is he really that clueless about what Romney is about?

I've got news for you Rodriguez. Rosie Perez could kick your ass with one arm tied behind her back.

Commedian (sic) Paul Rodriguez pitches for Romney in new Spanish radio ad
Uncategorized

The campaign for GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romneyis placing a new Spanish radio commercial entitled “Nuestro Futuro,” featuring Hispanic comedian Paul Rodriguez asking, “Do we want to leave our children a country with less opportunities?”

The campaign did not announce when or where the commercial (“Our Future” in English) , will be playing.

In Spanish, Rodriguez gives the following appeal:

“Hi friends! I’m comedian Paul Rodriguez. This election is about the type of future we want to leave to our children. We Hispanics sacrifice because we believe in the promise of this great country. But President Obama has taken us down the road of unemployment, more poverty and an exorbitant debt that puts that promise at risk. The question we must ask ourselves is: do we want to leave our children a country with less opportunities? I don’t belong to any political party, but I do believe in the opportunities that the United States offers all of us. This is why I am supporting Mitt Romney. Romney has a plan to create 12 million new jobs, reduce the debt and reform education. President Obama tried, but couldn’t do it. Our democracy allows us the choice to take a new path. For the future of this country, for the future of our children, I will be voting for Mitt Romney.”

He's got his, re: latino issues, wealth, and fame; so screw everyone else.

It's such a shame that "I got mine, so scrw everyone else." has become what a "real" American is, I hope it changes, I hope it's changing as we speak.

I wouldn't worry too much, surely to worry too much would be to under-estimate the intelligence and instincts of latino communities.

Seems like the Romney campaign is handing out money to ustabees and where–are–they–now entertainers. Last week 90s actress, Stacey Dash, an African American, came out and stated that she too was backing Romney. And ex-pro and UNLV basketball player Greg Anthony has an ad here in Vegas that he is also a Romney supporter. Look for more of these. The repugs have done this before. A few years back when I lived in New York, it came out that a repug pol had passed out "walking around" money to some buyable black preachers to get them to persuade their congregations to vote Republican. It's reality. Fortunately it's only a few people that will sell out for what can't be much more than chump change.

Doing it for the money is essentially the same as "I'm getting mine, screw everyone else."

Your point is well taken. I just wanted to tack on that they're also targeting some ustabee African Americans.
