Advocating Equal Pay for Women Is A 'Left-Wing Agenda'

tweeted by, Lis Smith ?@Lis_Smith

WOW- @MittRomney's surrogate Barbara Comstock just accused Lilly Ledbetter, who has fought for equal pay, of having a "left wing agenda."

. . . okay. It's clearly not a right-wing one.

Is stating, the heck with equal pay, I want a fraction of what my male colleagues are making. Note to all future employers, inspite of the law, Ms. Comstock is content with 76% pay for equal work.

equal pay is still a significant issue. Thankfully, we have a President that is clearly aware of this and a crazed corporate type fumbling binders that wants to steal his job. The choice is clear, we either move forward on women's issues or we place women back in binders both literally and figuratively. Let's all move forward together.

The right wing has gone off the rails. Romeneyites yearn to restore the never-was June Cleaver ideal. If they could make it so, equal pay wouldn't be an issue at all.

Romney's vision of what our society should be is whacked, and I think he views our reformation as his God-given mission. If women aren't alarmed, they aren't listening.
