(6,021 posts)That young lady is incredibly talented, and it's amazing what the right therapy can bring - almost like pulling her out of the shell.
I used to write off Katy Perry as a singer of bubblegum trash, but she does write her own songs, many of which I like, plays guitar and is an exceptional singer (despite being gorgeous). I have lots of respect for her, and even more so now. It's pretty obvious that she's an idol to Jodi, and it was great of her to do that duet with her.

(13,225 posts)It is one of my daughter's (who also has autism) favorite songs. Way to go Jodi and Katy. I am wishing success for the many other kids and adults travelling through life with autism. Each one is a unique and beautiful person.

(39 posts)My 11 year old son has Autism. It makes me so happy to see so many people out there who truly care that he and so many children like him have a future. I am not a big Katy Perry fan but what she did was amazing.
