She suffers with MS and she...
Wait a minute... That was so three months ago!
Ann Romney? Queen Ann Fucking ROMNEY?

Oh, piss on that mutant and her brood of demented psycho kidsTragg and Josuriah and Mxyplyzyk and Zamboni... whatever they got. The hell with the whole lot of them. The whole fuckin' freak show.
And for all the Democratic Mormons out there, please avert your eyes.... done? Okay.
The LDS church makes the Handmaid's Tale look like a Pride parade. It's like every dystopic novel ever written was combined and turned into a religion. I put nothing past them. (Though some of them seem awfully nice... but that's how they get you!)
I will not, and shall not have a President whose favorite author is Orson Scott Card.
Yeah, I said it.
Fuck these deviants and the horse they danced in on.

(5,436 posts)There was a rumor going around that the original moniker they were going to label "Tagg" with was "Cayman Island Taxfree"
However, Flip-Flopper's (large) team of accountants kiboshed that. They settled for "Tagg", which is an acronym for "Tax Avoidance Gimmick Gift".

(2,088 posts)Joseph Smith was a con-man who got kicked out of various towns for scamming people out of their money. He finally realized that starting a religion would be the easiest way to make a profit and get a tax break, so he did exactly that by forging a fictional text and selling it as a "revelation".
Pretty much what L. Ron Hubbard did.
Bohunk68
(1,364 posts)his seminary training. Joseph had a quartz round stone that he used as a "scrying stone" and would go around the western part of New York State offering to water witch for people. He would invariably tell them to dig about 14-20' down for water. In that area of NYS, that's about where the water table is, so he was always right. His bag of "golden tablets" was looked into one night when he was passed out drunk and found to be nothing more than a bag of rocks. Con man.

(10,960 posts)When I saw your headline on the Greatest.. I was coming on to say.. Ann Romney is fair game because she puts herself up on her pedestal looking down at "you people" and harping on our President.
She's puts herself in the line of fire with her crass political romnesia.

(26 posts)...for indicating that I would not be opposed to committing a sexual act with myself whist invoking an image of Ann Romney. It was in response to a post entitled: "Ann Romney is a VILE, WRETCHED person who is just a horrible excuse of a human being! " A jury found my comment to be inappropriate. Am I missing something? I am new here, but what the hell kind of liberals are you?
femrap
(13,418 posts)weird jury, maybe. Take it as a something to be proud of. I'm always getting 'juried' and 'hidden.' And I say much less visual things than you did.
What I don't get is how she could get you off? I'd imagine you to go flaccid.
Now watch, I'll be juried for that.
And I'm way past 'liberal'....radically progressive. The Occupying Kind....so I guess I'm part of the 99% as well as the 47%.
So in that vein, shouldn't your name be 'lostmygrassagain?'

(26 posts)I appreciate your kind words. I must say that I am of the same ilk. Similar at least. I am a registered Democrat, but I have an extremist socialist philosophy. I was not expecting to find the same kind of people here, exactly. I was just hoping to enjoy a little bit of comradery amongst folks with similar ideas, since it is impossible to find this here in AZ. I instead found censorship, hypocrisy, and ultimately, derision. I understand that some people may not see the same qualities in Ann Romney as I do, but I would be willing to bet you that not even the online version of the Arizona Republic would not have censored my comments. Tell me that this is not because what I said is being considered a compliment?

(13,418 posts)Left views are not shared in Ohio either. Even the local Dems don't want my help.
There are some cool people here at DU, but mainly mainstream Dems...and we all know they have moved to the right....not the old type of Unreconstructed Dems.
I call Bill Clinton the best Republican prez we have ever had in my adult life. lol.
I see socialism as the same idea as sharing. I see cooperation defeating competition in the new paradigm that will soon have to take over if the human race is to survive.
This op-ed made me happy....maybe you too:

We didn't used to have this silly jury system....I find it rather junior-highish.
cthulu2016
(10,960 posts)That's clearly inappropriate.

(26 posts)Explain to me how it was more inappropriate than the assertion that "Ann Romney is a VILE, WRETCHED person who is just a horrible excuse of a human being". To be honest, I do not feel that it is necessary to comment on the integrity and worth that these people have as human beings, and it made me a little bit uneasy. I am aware of the fact that these people (the Romneys and everyone else involved) probably have best intentions. I do not think that they are bad people, therefore, the attack by the original poster (who is entitled to his opinion) made me uneasy. I broke up the uneasiness with social commentary and a phrase borrowed from one of today's most influential sub cultures, particularly on the internet. This is mostly because I am aware of the fact that both of these candidates are trying to do their job and that they have more in common than they think, as far as being in public service. I know that the media chooses to implement formulaic reporting, rather than devoting enough time to cover all of the issues thoroughly. I will even jump out on a limb an suggest that the simplified extended conflict (or words to that effect) formula is the preferred formula for elections; it transforms a unique and hallowed process in American Democracy into a horse race with a winner and looser, rather than a choice between two distinguished men (or women [or one of each]) who happen to have different policies. I also know that this fosters contempt by reducing meaningful discourse to thirty second one liners that can be used on the evening news; the meaner the better.
All you can offer me is "Clearly inappropriate"? Is that it? honestly? I am not a troll and I am not convinced that most of you know what a troll is. I am here because I thought that there would be liberals, or leftists or people with open minded philosophies. At a bare minimum, I thought that there would be folks who had the ability to detect sarcasm, appreciate satire, or identify social commentary. I instead find myself educating yet another person without the benefit of their appreciation. Honestly. Clearly inappropriate? That is your explanation?
femrap
(13,418 posts)reply....I hate educating those that should already be educated. When explaining ideas, please use the SMILIES freely....there is even a 'sarcasm' smilie.

(2,117 posts)For one, the assertion that McCain had an illegitimate black child who was really adopted from Bangladesh was absolutely ludicrous. But Ann Romney has invited every criticism she gets, with her entitlement and "you people" comment showing she's a real bitch. And Tagg Romney's "swing" comment shows the family's disrespect for America's electoral process and also probably shows the traits of poor parenting.
