Remember the blonde in the ad for Tennessee Senate back in 2004 that was asking the African American Democratic candidate to call her to get the racial vote. I remember that in an interview with the actress she had no ideas who the politicians were, she only cared for the dollars she was making for the spot.

its not what you think. the reason there pulling (accoridng) to the poeple who reported is they have NC wrapped up and think PA is in play. and want to put resources into PA. if these idiots think PA is in play let them waste there money.

Every election cycle since 1988, they keep saying this and every year they have egg on their faces. So finally this year, after starting up the cacophony of idiocy trying to do it again, they finally, very reluctantly, took PA out of the stupid swing state category. And President Obama basically hasn't stopped running ads here (the latest being the Morgan Freeman one that premiered in Philly at the beginning of the week). Rmoney's ads disappeared over the summer. At present, both Obama and Casey are up by 5, which is the low end and rebounding, and Rmoney has never lead at all the entire year.

Alternately, it seems to me that Arizona is "in play" with the President down by about 5 on average, which is close to the MOE, and he is slowly ticking up while Rmoney is tanking. Meanwhile, Carmona is up by 2% in the last poll against Jeff Flake (which puts them at a virtual tie if you look at the average)?

I doubt he'll win it, but it makes me happy to think these Republican fuckheads are going to have to start putting their resources into yet another western state that used to be a lock for them and will not be in the future due in part to the growing Latino population.

McCain thought he had NC wrapped up until the last few weeks when he realized he was in trouble and then started to spend. So it really is the opposite.

people believe NC is in the bag so they're turning over GOTV to the local county parties. Their people are heading to the Northeast. Prior to '08, NC's Dem GOTV was done pretty much through the local parties so there will still be work getting done for the Repigs.

Bush won here by 13 points in '00 and '04 and Obama squeaked out a .5% victory in '08, so it's a Repig state unless you have great minority and student turnout. Most think those groups won't turn out in the same numbers this year. OFA is still working hard in NC and believe they can squeak out another one.

I smell a fish in Romney's tactics...it looks like he's aiming to just get 'close' so the Republican appointed officials can do their dirty work during ballot counting time. Be very aware.

count up the number of early votes & then "tweak" the election day counts to eke out a "close" victory in the counting centers.

Dems voting in OVERWHELMING numbers is the only way we win, because the republicans may not be able to tweak the machines enough..

Registering as republican so you are welcomed to the voting rolls (and your registration is not tossed), lying to pollsters, and then fielding a vigorous poll-watching/legal presence on voting day may the be only ways we can "win"

machine. Perhaps Mitt is trying to make it look like there is no point to Dems voting and/or dialing down the campaign there so fewer people are paying attention and ready to vote.
