Our local radio station was blasting Whoppi for telling Queen Anne

that she had read that Mormons opposed wars and exempted themselves from service. I haven't gone and read the transcript from 'The View' to see exactly what was said. Has anybody else heard the RW commenting on how embarrassing it was to Whoppi?

by making Queen Ann first admit that military service is not against the Mormon religion and there are many Mormons "serving" in the military. It was a thing of beauty.

This wasn't in a chaplains office or personnel work, this was onboard nuke-u-lar(coining a phrase!) attack and missile subs....ALL crew members play a role...

something very sigificant last night.

He stated that during the Vietnam War, there WAS a deferment option for young Mormon men that were doing mission work. No other major religions were offered any kind of deferment option like this!

Mainline Christian missionaries (like the ones in my family) were just going to Asia or Africa. Mitt was saving souls in France!
