I drive past a teeny cemetary several days / week in a remote region. Each day for the past couple of weeks, there have been between 1 and 3 fresh graves. NO mention of these deaths in news at all.

It is just human nature.
Sometimes I point out something that seems obvious and everybody gangs up on me.
Then two months later everyone says they knew it all along.
Just keep doing what you are doing.
