Wonder why Romneys would claim higher taxing Massachusetts as their home

over many of the so-called low tax states. They could literally build a home anywhere. Why do they not follow the mantra of the right and move to one of the low tax states? Texas? Utah is low tax isn't it? That would serve two purposes.

So what if Bain is there? A guy with his money (and remember he is supposedly no longer associated with Bain) could live anywhere and be fully connected with Bain.

Seems to me like a repudiation of mantra of Republicans on low taxes.

Massachusetts has a residency requirement for governor.

Romneys were claiming their Utah house as their primary residence and receiving a Utah property tax break.

When caught, he had to amend his tax returns... one of the many reasons he can't show those returns because it would show how many years he had been claiming Utah residency.

and he still claims Mass as his home.
Just seems an outlier in his 'low tax' life.

Maybe he pays no taxes due to deductions. And you can't get lower than 0.
