Imagine Earth 2

Imagine a world where the Electoral College split votes proportionally in each state. In this alternate universe Al Gore would have received half the electoral votes in Florida in 2000 and would have been president.

Over the past 20 years instead of spending over 6 trillion dollars in pointless destructive wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, we could have spent almost 900 million dollars a day on the environment and rebuilding our electrical grid and be on our way to controlling climate change.

We have to change the electoral college !

That's more likely than a constitutional amendment.

The Republicans in California essentially destroyed themselves by ignoring demographic changes in the state.

Those changes are coming everywhere to the U.S.A..

The majority of young white people won't fear people who are not white, won't fear people who are not straight, and won't fear immigrants. And they'll be a little angry about low wages and the high cost of health care and education.

Without fearful ignorant white people the Republicans are nothing.
