NV: Democrats massacre Republicans on first day of early voting in urban areas

The numbers show a 26 percent edge in Clark County and 10 percent in Washoe County. That's about a 10,000-vote lead in Washoe and Clark combined.

The Clark numbers: 55-29, or 18,388-9,588 (Actual registration: 46-31)

The Washoe numbers: 48-38, or 4,604-3,619 (Actual registration: 38-38)

Yes, it's only one day. But if it continues like this, Nov. 6 is going to be a very bleak day for Republicans in this state.

If he can't carry Ohio? If Obama carries both does that mean he wins the election?

4. Breakdown.

It's complicated. Obama can win without Ohio if he holds onto everything else the map currently shows and picks up Virginia OR Colorado AND New Hampshire. Those would both put him at 273.

He could win without Ohio or Nevada if he carried all three.

This is ignoring Florida. Romney has to have it to win. Obama can win even without it.

Obama has multiple paths to victory, Romney only one: carry Florida, win every current tossup state, and pick up something from Obama's current projections worth more than seven electoral votes.

In short, it's looking good. The noose around Romney's neck is drawing tight.

he won by 12 pts. in '08, so they think it is safe. I disagree on that assumption. NV has an option to vote non of the above, which many right wingers did in '08. This time I think many who would normally lean towards Obama will go for the non of the above option. It is going to be close in NV. I am basing this on living in NV for ten years and still having friends there who voted for O in '08 and now are going with non of the above. Us here in CA are working to keep NV a blue state! I have worked a phone bank where we targeted Clark county. We didn't do Washoe county, it is going red but we don't need them.

Staying home achieves the exact same thing without wasting time.

They want to go to the polls and vote but after Jimmy Carter got elected, they set up up the none of the above option in '78. I lived in Reno from '77 to '85 and witnessed this change in allowing a non of the above. I voted against it as I thought it was just dumb, but many wanted to do a protest vote by going to the polls. It worked for Obama in '08, but I am not sure it will work now. It is going to be close, even though NV only has 6 electoral votes I think it is in play.

The Ron Paul faction has taken over the state party and Ron Paul has not endorsed Romney.

This is the one place where Ron Paul is on the ballot and the Paulites are doing everything they can to get a big number for Paul.

The SEIU and other unions have a great GOTV campaign, one of the best in the country

Every poll has shown Obama ahead in a two person race except for 2 republican polls 2 out of 40.

If the none of the above is such an advantage to Romney why did they fight so hard to try and change it?

My prediction;

Obama 53
Romney 41
None of the above 6

as the 6 electoral votes don't really matter. The real game changers will be OH and PA in my opinion.
