Rick Perry trails even Jon Huntsman in a new South Carolina poll, an early sign that the Texan's efforts to revive his presidential campaign might not be working.

An InsiderAdvantage/Majority Opinion Research survey released Thursday shows Perry with backing from 5 percent of likely South Carolina GOP primary voters. That puts him last among major candidates.

Ahead are Mitt Romney at 23 percent, Newt Gingrich at 21 percent, Rick Santorum at 14 percent, Ron Paul at 13 percent and Huntsman at 7 percent.

Before NH he had been 7-8% in SC. Maybe coming in second in NH makes him the anti-romney to some folks.

They want him taking votes from Newt giving Romney a win.

I also think Iowa and New Hampshire counts both have been manipulated by GOP insiders.

That Super PAC money could make an impact.

He is now struggling to stay ahead of Ron Paul for gods sake in South Carolina. I think his Iowa finish will end up maybe the only place he had success with when all is said and done. A one hit wonder.
