this is old news, but is everyone aware that Romney's Bain was attempting to aid the Chinese in their
attempt to purchase an American icon, located in Iowa?
Does anyone have time and inclination to compile more about this?

(37,454 posts)all bought back in the mid 90's . They took our old 1964 washer away and fixed it (leaking crank case seal) of grease & put it on the showroom floor.

(16,254 posts)I bought a Whirlpool washer recently and despise it. Same with my dishwasher.
If I could, I'd pay to have my old Maytag and Amana appliances repaired and take them back.

(30,776 posts)washing machine in Korea. They are still involved in a lawsuit over their handling of pension funds. They have moved to the South to take advantage of non-union conditions there. I still don't like them much.
