(86,008 posts). . . just works against the President's interests and efforts; almost made worst by his overt involvement. It's really a congressional failure which is more exploited than actually served by involving Barack Obama; especially in this election season. It's not as if he's some obstacle to progress, though, even as he struggles to take a responsible lead on the issue of guns.
