Fox "News" deceptively edits Obama's statement on Benghazi

It is only possible to pretend that there is any ambiguity over whether Obama was calling the Benghazi attack an act of terror if you edit the tape.

If this has been diared, I apologize but I just saw how low they can go and this is
lazy and sloppy even for Fox....Look at them trying to edit and this is REAL. They tried to make Candy Crowley out a liar as well as the President but someone did not know how to edit. This would be funny if not so damn scary.

#!

Think anyone noticed they messed with the film?
Just fastforward to edit....BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I would have thought this a joke had Media Matters not had it on their site:
site.

Here is Obama's September 12 speech as aired by Fox:

Yesterday, four of these extraordinary Americans were killed in an attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi .... We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others .... Of course, yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks .... No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation.

This is what Obama actually said, with the portion aired by Wallace in bold:

Of course, yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks. We mourned with the families who were lost on that day. I visited the graves of troops who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery, and had the opportunity to say thank you and visit some of our wounded warriors at Walter Reed. And then last night, we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi.

As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation,
alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.

"No act of terrorism will shake the resolve of the American people"

Case closed. Romney has to have the worst advisors or memory, ever. "Romnesia." Fox News is the broadcast journalistic version of Alsheimer's Disease.

"no act of terror" which Romney, et al are stupid enough to think does not mean "terrorism."

5. And Rmoney didn't say "terrorism", but actually said "act of terror"

Argued that PBO never called it was an "act of terror" until 14 days later which he clearly had and used that exact phrase. They are so arrogant as to be far beyond incompetent.

When you have W's advisors surrounding you, no wonder you can't make a coherent or honest argument.

And as I type this, I see the top news article on Google News search reading,

"After a Rotten Month, Obama Needs to Dominate Debate."

I don't even need to look to know it's from Fox News.

But I look. And it's from Fox News.

Because according to Fox, the President horribly bombed in his second debate, and Romney was awe-inspiring.

Just about the worst thing that can happen to a narcissist. So, we are still hearing about it as his minions try to fix-it for him. There is even an article on Yahoo, written by Brent Bozell, saying Candy Crowley Self-Destructs over the incident.

I have been playing with the right-wing posters all weekend.
