I drove my sister to a Dr.s appointment, then we went to vote.

NC's early voting started last week, but every time I drove by it was out the door and down the block. Today it was only out the door to the sidewalk.

Sis can't drive, so it's not like she was going to be able to get to the polls if I didn't take her, so we went ahead.

The line went pretty quickly and I saw someone I knew from High School, (30 +) years ago, registering to vote for the first time!

he's voting Obama.

As did my sister. (and obviously me)

NC's turnout of African American voters and new voters is phenomenal this time around.
