For me, I want to see President cool, calm and very Presidential while, at the same time:
1. Pushing all the right buttons to humiliate Romney
2. Send Romney right over the edge in such an emotional outburst that everyone sees that he is unfit to be President and
3. and if Anne Romney and the spawns of Satan are pushed over the edge -- well that will just be a bonus.

(30,404 posts)Foreign Policy.
In the last debate Mitwit was trying to play word smith with My President.
Candy and My President took him to the wood shed on that one!
If he tries that mess again, My President should politely get in his face and remind him that Foreign Policy involves delicate and world changing decisions.
Those decisions need to be carried out by a person that has a global view not someone who is only concerned about the 1% that wants to play bully all over the world so that their pockets can be filled with $$'s.
Sock it to him Mr. President! We love you!

(2,667 posts)Mitt Romney may have some vague notion of embassy balls where he and his queen are stars of the show but in truth its the need for tough thinking and always that guy alongside the President with the 'nuclear football' that demands the more sober candidate win this debate. Foreign policy matters, particularly with the chickenhawks everpresent.

(1,727 posts)Romney is the same shoot from the hip kind of Republican that George W. was/is. Romney's foreign policy team is heavily influenced by the neocons with Bolton leading the charge for more aggressive action against Iran/China/Libya/Egypt/whatever. Diplomacy is not a dirty word unless one is a Republican of the right wing variety. Enough people have died for the failed nation destroying and building strategies that Obama inherited from Bush and Company. Corporations are not people and should not be directing U.S. foreign policy for corporate/personal profit.
