A sign that irritates me

I don't have any pics of it, but a couple of blocks up the street from my house is a small business which has a truly irritating sign out front. The sign reads, "What did you do with the vote I gave you? God"
I have seen this sign a couple of other places as well and without fail, they are repuke voters. Of course.
Anyway, I think someone needs to explain to them that god, buddha, allah, or no other deity gave them the vote, the United States Constitution did. And it's a pretty good document. Those founding fathers knew what they were doing. I'm not sure if I should walk into the business and tell them how much the sign annoys me because after all, it is their property and they can put up whatever they want. But I do know that I will never get car parts from them.

They don't get it and never will, that is that most of the population thinks that religion is not some law of physics and is just a private personal matter, and DOES NOT WANT a theocracy, no matter how much vim and vigor fundies might hear in their own churches or among themselves.

Don't worry: the irritation will be all theirs when the GOP goes down in flames on election day.

Several times in fact, and nowhere in it did I use the words "got it right". Besides, times change and laws sometimes change along with them.

Somehow I missed that during the religious indoctrination I went through as a child and teenager.

Must be some obscure bible book (1 Dieboldians?)

The stupid just keeps manifesting itself in so many ways.
