I thought you were going to say "Register as a repig", "paste Rmoney stickers all over your car", and "act like an idiot".

Then the vote-counters figure you're a repig, and will actually count your vote.

Which would explain why Obama voters stayed home in 2010, cutting the President off at the knees.

Too many people only vote in Presidential elections and ignore the others. The problem is everywhere, not just a few states.

We must vote EVERY year. Not just every 4 years and not even just every 2 years.

I think part of the problem is that there is a self-perpetuating fear that spreads through communities regarding Jury selection being tied to voter registration. It has been frustrating to quell this especially since alot of municipalities use no such list and others do use it along with a variety of other resident lists to come up with a pool for selection.

We are slowly taking PA at the county level and Democrats outnumbered rethugs by something like 1.2 million. But this is a perfect time for some bold politician here to start talking up early voting legislation because I know that it would help (and is probably why the state seems to keep such at bay).

because I was in my late 20's voting in an off-year election. The newscaster asked why I would vote in this election. I told her, I'll be older some day too, so what happens now effects me later. I left off the implied, "Duh!" I also said too many people fought and died for my right to vote not to exercise it and that it was civic duty... rah, rah, rah VOTE!
