This is why using the word even to refer back to her is a problem. Most people outside of the disability community are not aware of this. Nor are they aware of the fact that it is a word that has been used in bullying incidents for a very long time. Just some info that explains further why this man wrote this letter.

I love how many people are standing up to bullying and hate speech these days. When I grew up that kind of language and behavior was just accepted and no one stood up to it. I have to wonder if people who spew nothing but hate all day everyday ever feel bad about what they do. At the very least I can't imagine being that hateful can lead to a very happy and peaceful existence.

In fact, most of them are anti anti-bullying. Every time an anti-bullying bill is voted on they are right there defending people's right to bully other people.

There are over 2,000 responses to his letter. Coulter is old 'news', she is struggling to get attention the old way, the way she did long ago when her kind of dialogue was 'new'. But it grew old fast and she is now completely irrelevant even among Republicans.

But this letter shows that intelligence and patience and strength of character never grow old.
