Two more votes for PBO in San Antonio

At 5:15 on Thur, there was a line outside of the early voting place. Texas started on Monday, so kind of surprised at the number waiting, even with the line moving quickly and 20 machines available. While I counted the number of machines, the poll worker commented that it had been busy all day and Mon & Tues the lines had gone out to the street. She said she expected it to slack off a bit at the start of next week, but would be slammed by this time next week.

Walked right on thru with my voter registration card, Mrs. BB05 couldn't find her card, so used her DL. Was all very efficient, done at the area library. Can vote at any early site in your county, so lots of folks taking advantage of this chance.

Asked to our Dem candidate for State Senate handing out campaign literature. Have spoken with him a few times before in this cycle and in 2008 as well. Think he has a chance, our district runs from N San Antonio up to S Austin, but the long time US Rep for the same general area is a Repub. The OFA ground game will work in his favor, so hopeful. Unfortunately we aren't in the district where the Castro brother is running.

Was a good afternoon to see our election process at work.
